For people working in a metro and want to go home on a weekend, their first choice of booking a ticket is thro' Indian Railways and the next most popular choice is Redbus. When u log into the redbus website, u are spoilt of choice and do not know which travels to choose..... U do not know how to decide on which one to choose.... In that sense, travel has become more of a commodity and the companies are trying various ways to differentiate themselves.....

Last weekend, I wanted to go to chennai from hyderabad and the trip was not planned well in advance.... So, I was not able to use the first option of booking a train ticket... So had to go with the second option of using the redbus website.... Lot of travels were listed.... I had travelled once from hyderabad to bangalore thro' a bus and had a very bad experience... To start with I was not allotted the seat that I had booked through online... pushed me to the last seat..... The bus was pathetic..... seats were not proper..... I paid around Rs 900 for that bad experience... 

With that bad experience in mind, I thought lemme atleast save money by opting for a low-cost provider... So, I chose Orange travels.... I was in for a surprise.... I was waiting for the bus to arrive at the specified boarding point for half an hour and the bus did not turn up.... I called up the travels to enquire abt the status and they told me that I would arrive in anther 15 minutes..... After 10 minutes, they called me up to inform me that the bus should arrive in the next 5 minutes... was a little surprised to get a call back from the travels... was a little comforting... They provided the passengers with a biscuit packet, a mixture packet and a bottle of water..... The blankets were good and was given to us in a plastic cover.... During the half way point, the bus stopped at a place for dinner.... That place was very good..... not a typical road side shop, where you wont feel like eating anything..... The restaurant was good with a buffet facility, swimming pool, gym and all those stuff, which are not of big concern to me as I wouldnt prefer to have buffet dinner while on travel..... nearby that there was a chat shop, where you'll get all chaat items plus the regular veg fried rice and noodles stuff and fresh juices, which atleast made me feel that the place is a lot hygienic than the other places, where I had travelled.

I would recommend anybody willing to travel by bus to try Orange travels and experience it!!!
